Robert Godgart
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Bob Godgart is a founder and CEO of Autotask, and directs all investment, marketing and business strategy activities of the company.
Prior to founding Autotask, he founded PowerAdz.com (now PowerOne Media), an industry-leading provider of Web application / hosting services to the newspaper and automotive industries. At PowerAdz, he was responsible for corporate vision, business development, product management, corporate marketing programs, and acquisitions.
Bob has been an award winning software entrepreneur and businessman since 1982 with experience concentrated in the areas of strategic planning, corporate marketing, sales strategy, license agreements, acquisition, due diligence, product management and software.
In 1987, he founded a software company that revolutionized an industry with innovative low-cost imaging software to put paper drawings on the PC. He guided the company through seven consecutive years of profitability and received numerous awards for growth, product export and technology. In 1994, the 70-person company was acquired by Softdesk, a public company now owned by Autodesk.
Bob has held positions including Vice President of Technology Partnerships at Softdesk and Software Development Manager for General Electric.
He holds a B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Bob Vogel
Chief Marketing Officer
As CMO, Bob Vogel is responsible for creation and execution of the company's strategic marketing initiatives, evolving the Autotask brand, creating awareness in target markets, and instituting lead-generation activities to drive the company's sales.
He brings to Autotask more than 20 years of experience in direct marketing, e-commerce, strategic development, and advertising through all mediums. He has worked with hundreds of companies in scores of industries over the past 20 years in his leadership roles at direct marketing giant Euro RSCG Devon Direct, as well as at the helm of his own marketing communications agencies.
Bob has been instrumental in the development of strategic plans and creative business ideas to open new channels of distribution, increase market share, build brands and increase customer loyalty, sell over the internet, generate leads, and launch new products...even to start entirely new businesses.
In addition to his skills as a marketing strategist, Bob is an entrepreneur, having started five successful new ventures during his career. He has both a technical and creative background, with a BS degree in science and MS in communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Adam Stewart
VP, Client Services
As Vice President of Client Services for Autotask, Adam Stewart is responsible for training, implementation, customer support and professional services.
Adam began his career in 1989 as Manager of Customer Support for Image Systems Technology, a start-up CAD imaging software vendor. Later, as Director of Technical Resources, he helped execute the sale of Image Systems to Softdesk, Inc. At Softdesk, he served as Director of Development Services, where he was responsible for Documentation, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support. He also managed all major software development projects and brought new product versions to market on tight schedules. Adam joined LearnLinc Corporation as Manager of Customer Service in 1996, where he built a world-renowned CS team. Later, as Director of Development Services, he implemented processes and procedures that groomed the company to be sold to Mentergy in 2000. In 2002, he managed the sale of the LearnLinc business to iLinc Communications, where he served as Vice President of Technical Operations for the following two years.
Adam is experienced in building and energizing highly effective teams that produce relentless service and award-winning products that consistently delight customers. He serves on the advisory boards of several small software companies and holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Jake Carroll
VP, Channel Sales
As Vice President of Channel Sales for Autotask, Jake Carroll is responsible for building Autotask's distribution strategy, and the developing OEM, Reseller, and Solution Provider partnerships worldwide.
Jake began his career in the IT industry in 1988 as Regional Channel Manager for Image Systems Technology where he first teamed with Autotask CEO Bob Godgart. Prior to Joining Autotask Jake spent seven years at MapInfo Corporation, a leader in Business Geographic and Location Intelligence Software. As Director of North American Channel Sales, he restructured North American indirect distribution channels, resulting in significant expansion of channel revenues. Jake then served as MapInfo's General Manager of America's sales overseeing both channel and direct sales. He was an integral part of the sales management team that grew worldwide revenues from $41 to $114 million over a three year period.
Jake Carroll brings nearly two decades of in-depth experience in indirect channel sales, OEM technology licensing, and business development to Autotask.
Mark Hellbusch
VP of Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Mark Hellbusch is responsible for Autotask's software product development which includes strategy, design, development, quality, and data center operations.
Mark brings over 20 years of experience in software product development and data center operations to his position with Autotask. Previously, Mark spent nine years at Reynolds and Reynolds, the automotive industry's largest provider of software and services used by more than 18,500 dealerships worldwide. As the company's Chief Architect, Mark drove the strategy for software product development. He held other key technical leadership roles including data center operations, and oversight of the company's operations in China.
Prior to Reynolds, Mark was an Associate Director at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California where he led technical efforts to design, implement and deliver a clinical information system for 22 medical centers. Mark has held several additional software development and IT leadership positions.
Mark received his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua Business School. Additionally, he holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
Len DiCostanzo
Senior VP, Professional Services & Business Optimization
As the head of Autotask's Professional Services and Business Optimization team, Len DiCostanzo is responsible for designing and delivering a series of service offerings to enhance the overall Autotask customer experience. Services range from customized implementation and training programs, to on-going business optimizing training, to best practice business and technical guidance curriculums, to onsite and remote consulting engagements and system integration solutions.
Len is a widely-recognized figure in the IT industry, and brings to Autotask Corporation 25 years of experience as a business technology solution provider in the channel. He started his channel career back in 1986, founding Turnkey Computer Systems, Inc., a then-boutique software development firm. Over the years, the company evolved into a full service solution provider, specializing in custom applications and technology infrastructure solutions. In the late 1990's, Len's company was one of the first solution providers to develop a recurring service business model, delivering scheduled, consistent IT services in support of business operations.
Since that time, Len has focused his efforts on creating documentation, curricula, and training materials to help transfer his extensive industry business knowledge to other solution providers. As part of this effort, Len has consulted on many successful MSP business transformation projects, working individually with solution providers to make the transition from a break/fix service model to one generating sustainable and predictable recurring revenue. He has also taught -- and learned from -- hundreds of MSPs through personally-conducted online and in-person classes, seminars and workshops delivered around the globe.
Len now brings all this experience, and proven learning tools, to the table for Autotask's customers through the company's professional services offerings.
Len received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brown University in Rhode Island
